||-30 to +200°C
||Mineral oils, many chemicals,
sea water, water, suds
Additional special materials are available at short notice, if desired FDA and BGA conform.
The support parts of a normal design are produced from unalloyed steel as per DIN 1624 (St. 12). For special designs, stainless and acid proof steel can be used as per DIN 1.4301 or 1.4571. For DIN 1.4571 corrosion or chemical proof and non-magnetic designs are available.
During pressurization, the short sealing lip with its short moment arm requires no additional supports (in contrast to normal radial spring seals) and can accommodate much higher pressure ranges. In the range of >6 bar please consult with our technical dept. and note the pressure when ordering. For fluctuating pressures (negative to overpressure) the structural shape AC will be used.
